How do I know my payment is secure?
Do I have to pay sales tax?
The Nod Box only charges a Santa Clara County sales tax which is automatically computed on product(s) costs. You will have an opportunity to review this amount before submitting your order.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to most cities in Silicon Valley. The following are the cities we serve: Atherton, Campbell, Cupertino, Foster City, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Mountain View, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Portola Valley, Redwood City, San Carlos, San Jose, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Saratoga, Stanford, Sunnyvale, Woodside
Do you offer same day delivery?
We do offer same day delivery in Silicon Valley from Monday to Friday . The order deadline is 10:00am from Monday to Friday, if you miss our deadline, please call us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
What is the delivery fee?
Our delivery fee ranges from $10-$30 depending on location. See Delivery page for our Delivery Zones. A small handling fee is applied at check out as well.
What happens if the recipient is not there?
All our boxes automatically have a "signature release," which means that our boxes can be dropped off without requiring a signature. In most cases, the delivery driver will knock or ring the bell, and if there is no answer, will leave the product somewhere safe at the delivery location.
How do I know my box was delivered?
Once your box has been delivered, you will receive a confirmation email with the time of delivery.
Can I send boxes outside the Silicon Valley area?
Yes, please take a look at the Amelia and Charley Box. We can ship that box anywhere in the continental US . While we’d love to share our other boxes nationally, to ensure freshness, our delivery area is local only.
Can you deliver to a college dorm?
Sure! As long as you have the full street address and dorm number it shouldn't be a problem. Please note that most campus housing is very secure and therefore may not be able to accept the delivery if the recipient is not available, so our courier may be routed to the campus' mail room.
I just found out that the recipient will be out of town for their box delivery, what can I do?
Let us know as soon as you find out and, as long as the boxes are not already out for delivery, we can work with you to schedule a new date. However, if the box has already left our studio, we are not able to cancel your order or change the delivery date. We strongly encourage that you confirm that the recipient will be home when you'd like to send them their box!
Who sent me a Nod Box?
If you prefer to send flowers without your name attached, we will honor that. However, if the recipient calls us asking who sent them the gorgeous flower or succulent arrangement, it is our company policy that we are required to disclose the sender.
Can I pick up a box?
To keep our prices down we don't operate a brick and mortar retail location. However, if you would like to pick up an order, please call or email us to coordinate a mutually agreed upon location.
What can I do with my extra boxes?
The Nod Box is happy to recycle your used boxes. Please email us at email@example.com to arrange for a pick up. However, we hope you repurpose your box. Please look at ways other NodBox recipients are using their boxes at the bottom of our Home Page.
How do I take care of my flowers?
Flowers are delivered fresh and we encourage adding fresh water every two days for longer life.
How do I take care of my succulents?
Succulent will arrive to you already watered. Place close to a window and water every three weeks for longer life.
I’m Gluten free, are the cookies Gluten Free?
Allergy information-unless otherwise noted, products contain milk, wheat, soy and egg, and were produced on equipment that processes almonds, cashews. Our facility is not Gluten Free. If you need a Gluten Free option, please contact us at sales@TheNodBox.com or (650) 935-4150 for a special order.
